Then it was time to head into the city to take part in PING, a yearly influencer festival with influencers, brands and speakers from all over the world.
It was very educative to listen to all the amazing speakers touching on topics ranging from content strategies to building a brand, gaining fans instead of followers and creating trust as an influencer.
My favourite part about PING was definitely to connect though, both with my friends and colleagues but also with myself. We had a lot of fun together but we also had some serious business talks about reach on instagram, loosing ourselves and how to find our voices again.
I definitely feel like I fell down the hole of the industry where I have been posting solely to get good engagement and reach. For example I wanted to create good travel guides from Spain that we’re well SEO’ed so that I get more traffic which will lead to more work. And of course, this business mindset is good to have and an important part of what I do but I lost my own voice along the way.
The part of myself that feel so strongly about nature and the wonders of the world, the one who ponders over working less and living more, the one who mix good guides with what I actually feel and experience a long the path of life and writes more personal posts as well – where did she go?
Well, I think I found her during these days in Helsinki and she is about to return. It’s amazing what a change of scenery, inspiring lectures and & good talks with friends can do!
I will make a separate post where I delve deeper into this, but for now, here are a few photos of said friends and good times during PING:
These ladies are all the best, and hanging out with them was so much fun. And to top it all off we got an amazing sunset view from Clarion Hotel. Thank you Helsinki, my dear friends and PING!
An extra huge thank you to Veera for inviting me ♥︎ !
