Welcome!

My name is Rania

I am a photographer and this is my online journal and creative outlet. It may contain traces of coffee and cats, mixed with photography and philosophical tangents.

After living in a big city dreaming about shooting fashion and interior for magazines, I left the hectic lifestyle behind and moved to the north. Now I live in a small town in a valley between two mountains, located in the north of Sweden.

Here I work as a freelancing photographer, content creator and educator, while trying to live slow staying present in the here and now.

I love when my camera allows me to enter the creat

I love when my camera allows me to enter the creative space of someone else. When I get to capture an artist doing what they love, their studio and their creations - and their helpful assisting cats! I love when I get to tell their story with images.

This is @olivier.maximilian, an amazingly talented pottery maker and tattoo artist. And Winston, his Maine Coon who loves the throwing wheel.

This was such a fun, inspiring job and I love seeing the two worlds of pottery and tattoos meet in what Olivier creates.

I also very much appreciated getting to create darker, more moody images.

This Saturday it's the waffle day in Sweden, one of the best food days!

I love making them more savoury by adding fried mushrooms to the batter, maybe spinach too. Oh and it's of course extra tasty if you cook them outside over open fire. Just prepare the batter at home and bring with you in a bottle 👌🏼
